Notice of Meeting

 

To Members of the public:  the meeting of Alburgh Parish Council will be held in Alburgh Village Hall on Wednesday, 17th May 2023 to follow the annual parish meeting.

            

               AGENDA

 

            Councillors are asked to return their signed declarations of acceptance of office

 

  1. To elect a chairman – chairman to sign the declaration of acceptance of office

 

  1. To elect a vice-chairman

 

  1. To consider accepting apologies for absence

 

  1. To receive any declarations of interest from members on any item to be discussed at this meeting

 

  1. To consider any declarations of acceptance of office that have not been received and decide whether to grant an extension

 

  1. To approve and sign the minutes of the last parish council meeting held on 6th April, 2023

 

  1. Open forum for public participation (maximum 10 minutes): an opportunity to hear from members of the public

 

  1. To discuss matters arising from the minutes of the last meeting which are not on the agenda

 

  1. To discuss any correspondence received

 

  1. To receive inspection reports on Playing Field and discuss Homersfield Picnic Site repairs in line with the Adnams Community Trust grant received

 

  1. To undertake the annual review of: Standing Orders, Financial Regulations

 

  1. To agree to adopt the 2020 LGA Code of Conduct from 9th May 2023 when new councillors take office

  • Update on ‘Village Questionnaire’
  • Update on Village Hall Notice Boards

  1. Other Parish Council Items
  • Use of Allotments for fruit orchard
  • To discuss use of grass area next to allotments for a boules/pétanque pitch

 

  1. To report on planning decisions, applications commented on since last meeting

 

  1. Finance: To approve payments to be made – including annual donation to APCC from Parish Land Acc
  1. Completion of AGAR Form:

Confirmation of Internal Audit report

Approval of Annual Governance Statement

Approval of Accounting Statements

Approval of Certificate of Exemption

Confirmation of approval, authorising clerk to submit the AGAR to PKF Littlejohn

  1. To receive and discuss items from parish councillors; vacancy for parish councillors

 

  1. To receive items for the next meeting, Thursday, 6th July 2023
