Dear All
As we head towards Christmas, many will be experiencing even more hardship and anxiety. Norfolk County Council is supporting a variety of schemes but the two below are of exceptional importance so I would be really grateful if you would share these details far and wide
“The following schemes are here to help support families in Norfolk who are facing real hardship this winter due to Covid-19, by helping to cover the costs of food, utility bills or essentials like toiletries, sanitary products and nappies. If you, someone you know, or a family you work with is worried about paying for these things, applications to the new support scheme can be made online, via the existing Norfolk Assistance Scheme pages at We’ve also www.norfolk.gov.uk/NAS or applicants can call 0344 800 8020.
We have also partnered up with food voucher company Edenred, to provide support for all those eligible for free school meals, children in the early years who receive pupil premium and all of the council’s care leavers during the Christmas holidays.
If possible could you display this on your websites or on your Parish Noticeboards in you Villages.
Also happy for you to add my NCC email address for anyone who needs extra support”

Many thanks
