The photo says it all! Twenty of us met to share a celebratory meal to mark our 30th anniversary. Jo and Pauline decorated the room and table with union flags, red, white and blue candles and flowers, and we all wore red white and blue. The food was wonderful, as always, very British this time, coronation chicken, smoked salmon pate, cold roast beef, liver and bacon casserole, with delicious puddings. They really did make our mouths water, chocolate roulade, a variety of trifles, bakewell tart, canterbury tart, profiteroles and pavlova, with enough left over to take home to loved ones!
